• The EcoChart is a pie chart showing the relative likelihood of observing particular other species commonly observed near Achatinella viridans. Likelhood considers both the frequency with which Achatinella viridans is observed at all locations where it has been reported, and the number of observations of all other species at each of those locations. A species that is common where Achatinella viridans is common will have a higher score than if only one of these species is common at that location.
• The Top Species lists enumerate those species most commonly observed near Achatinella viridans.
• While the chart, lists, and wheel are empirically based on observations, observations favor some phyla over others. Typically Bacteria, Fungi, Protozoa, and Arthropods are more common in the field than in our records.
