Physical Description

Size/Age/Growth

Body Length: 110-130 cm / 3.6-4.3 ft . Shoulder Height: 95-115 cm / 3.1-3.8 ft. Tail Length: 25-35 cm / 10-14 in. Weight: 60-125 kg / 132-275 lb .

Habitat

Biome: Terrestrial

Ecology: Prefers sandy deserts and is adapted to life in hyperarid areas. Feeds on scanty vegetation in interdunal depressions . Highly mobile and moves long distances to exploit ephemeral plant growth following rainfall, which it can sense at great distances.[1]
