Habitat
Ecology: At Fazenda Luzitania, a single specimen was collected in a cacao farm
under cacao trees
, bananas and some larger, emergent shade trees, on the ground
in the leaf-litter near a small creek. At Santa Teresinha specimens were collected in terrestrial
bromeliads
in forest
. This species is presumed to breed
by direct development
