Habitat

May be found at depths of 687 to 840 meters.

Biome: Marine [2].

Ecology: Recorded from the insular slopes at depths of 521 to 915 m (Compagno et al. 2005). Virtually nothing known of its biology . Maximum size 45.5 cm total length (TL ): males are adult at 42.8 cm TL, and females are adult at 39.5 to 45.5 cm TL (Compagno in prep. b ). (Ref. 255019).
