Habitat
Ecology: It inhabits deeply shaded slopes
with abundant leaf-litter in mesic
canyons
wooded with tanbark oak, coast live oak, sycamore, laurel, and poison oak. It is also found in less shaded areas with blue oaks and coast live oaks (Jockusch et al. 2001).[1]
