Physical Description

Adult Summer Female: Bill: bluish gray Body: Belly: unstreaked white Underparts: white with dusky streaks Upperparts: gray-brown streaks Tail: Length : short.Adult Summer Male: Bill: bluish gray Tail: black or slate-gray with white tips on outer feathers.

About 7 inches long, with a wingspan of 11 to 11 inches. Adults weigh about 1.1 ounces .
