Family Corvidae

A Family of passerine songbirds that contains the crows, ravens, rooks, jackdaws, jays, magpies, treepies and nutcrackers. Corvids are medium to large birds with strong feet and bills, rictal bristles and a single moult each year.

Adult : Head : Crown: blue Face : black Eye Ring: blue-white band above and below eyes Forehead: blue-white band Bill: black Neck: Nape: blue Throat : black Body: Chest: black Underparts: light greenish yellow Upperparts: dark green Tail: bluish green with yellow outer feathers.

About 10.5 inches long, with a wingspan of 15 to 15 inches. Adults weigh about 2.7 ounces .
