Habitat

Ecology: It was first found in rotting vegetation at the base of saplings at a distance of around 5 m from a stream in a betel nut orchard, indicating at least a degree of tolerance to habitat disturbance . It is presumably originally a forest species. Its reproductive biology is unknown, although where known other members of the genus are oviparous with terrestrial eggs that develop directly.[1]
