Habitat

Ecology: The specific habitat requirements of this species are not known. It has been suggested (Mijares-Urrutia et al. 1999) that it prefers to inhabit specific microhabitats that are difficult to access within the cloud forest , or alternatively it could be a frog with very secretive habits. Its breeding habits are unknown, although it presumably breeds in water.[1]
