Habitat

Ecology: It inhabits pine-oak-fir cloud forest and pine-oak forest , living under the bark of fallen logs . It can survive in slightly degraded habitats , but has disappeared where the forest has been lost. It breeds by direct development and is not dependent upon water.[1]
