Habitat
Ecology: It is found in dry forest
, woodlands, shrublands and grasslands in open and disturbed
areas. It is commonly found near water, but can be found in dry depressions
that flood in winter and spring
. Males call
in spring and summer from the ground
or in litter
along the water’s edge
. The eggs
are small and the larvae are aquatic
.
