Description
Genus Calonema
Sporocarps either stalked or sessile and then often crowded or heaped. Capillitium of branching tubules which form a network and which may be attached to the base and peridium. Capillitium vaguely decorated with reticulations , irregular rings and/or spirals .
Physical Description
Species Calonema aureum
Sporocarps sessile, subglobose or turbinate , 0.2-0.6 mm diam., pulvinate and up to 1 mm long, crowded, often heaped and then irregular from mutual pressure .
