Use this syntax to search for information on our web site:

To find documents that mention both "diet" and "bird", type diet AND bird.
To find documents that mention "diet" but not "bird", type diet AND NOT bird.
To find a documents that mention either "diet" or "bird" or both, type diet OR bird
Search with the keyword NEAR, rather than AND, for words close to each other. For example, both of these queries, diet AND bird and diet NEAR bird, look for the words diet and bird on the same page. But with NEAR, the returned pages are ranked in order of proximity: The closer together the words are, the higher the rank of that page.
To find documents about "sea lion", type in "sea lion". Put phrases in quotation marks. Without such quotation marks, you will search for sea OR lion.
To find all variants of a stem, append the * wildcard to the root. For example, type sea* to get documents that include sea, seal, and sea lion.
