A term given to the anal fin (or the anterior portion of it) of a male fish when it is modified to serve as a copulatory organ, e.g., in guppies; a modification of the anterior anal fin rays in live-bearing fishes, modified as a trough or united as a tube, for the transferal of sperm to female.
